Self-promotion: Lady Gaga blasted her new dance track from her SUV when she was recently surrounded by fans in New York

These days musicians heavily rely on the internet to promote new music.
But Lady Gaga used a more intimate way to give her fans a sneak peak of her upcoming dance track.
The 26-year-old was surrounded by adoring fans, otherwise known as her 'little monsters', when she turned up her stereo and wound down the windows to blast the single out of the vehicle, according to MTV.com.
She played a short portion of the clip before driving off.
Fans immediately took to Twitter to rave about the encounter.
One fan excitedly wrote: 'Just met Gaga! She was playing a song from her new album! It was a very heavy dance/club song! The beat was f***ing insane!'
Another bragged: 'I asked her if it was the new single she looked at me and shook her head yes and said "shhhhh."'

Gaga's new highly-anticipated album is said to be based entirely on dance music.
The singer said that she wanted her next LP to be less responsible.
'Let's just say I feel, I feel that when I wrote Born This Way, I demonstrated a sense of maturity. And I feel that on the next album there's a lack of maturity - it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility,' she said.
Today Gaga was seen arriving at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles after jetting in from New York.

Wearing a uncharacteristically demure black top and cream blazer combination, she smiled for the cameras.
The singer accessorised with large sunglasses and wore a Chanel headband around her head.
Meanwhile, fellow pop star Madonna has made another jibe at Lady Gaga.
The Celebration singer claimed she is a big fan of the younger pop star's track Born This Way - which has previously been compared with her hit Express Yourself - because she 'helped to write' the song.
