But Katy Perry - whose parents are both pastors - was clearly feeling somewhat sinful tonight as she paired a cleavage-baring cutaway dress with a crucifix ring.
The 27-year-old singer completed her look with a pair of studded red velvet heels as she promoted her film Part Of Me in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil tonight at a photocall.

The likes of Madonna and Lady Gaga have also caused controversy in the past with their risqué religious statements (people may recall Gaga dressed as a nun on stage last year - getting spanked by a dog-collar wearing Jean Paul Gaultier).
And earlier this month, Perry slipped into a gold crucifix dress for the Sydney premire of the documentary film.
Earlier in the day, Katy stepped onto her hotel balcony in another striking outfit, to be greeted by teams of adoring fans waiting for her below.

They were rewarded when she emerged today.

He and Russell Brand's ex-wife Perry were seen out together last month two nights in a row.
