Wimbledon-approved: Carly Rae Jepsen wore her tennis whites for Arthur Ashe Kids' Day concert today at the US Open in New York

The U.S. Open doesn't even begin until Monday. But Carly Rae Jepsen got the entire USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center dancing on their feet today during her performance for Arthur Ashe Kids' Day in New York.
The Call Me Maybe singer rolled back the clock in her outfits for the tennis-themed event - a schoolgirl pleated plaid dress for the red carpet and Wimbledon-approved tennis whites for the show.
The 26-year-old has been criticized for dressing 'below her age' as a ploy to appeal to the same younger audience that worship her mentor Justin Bieber.

She teamed her outfit with gleamingly white Converse high-top sneakers as she sang her blog-beloved number one single.
With a red and blue scarf headband framing her trademark bangs, the bubbly songstress looked energetic as always as she spritedly bounced along the tennis court during her performance.

Carly's hit Call Me Maybe spent nine-weeks at the top of the U.S Billboard chart, and also scored the number one spot in the UK, Ireland, and Australia.

Gleeful backup: Glee star Matthew Morrison, who served as the special celebrity umpire, was seen excitedly cheering Carly on as she sang at the event

Celebrities including the Kardashians, Katy Perry, and Kelly Clarkson have parodied the video, posting clips of themselves miming along to the catchy song.
'It is tough to pick a favorite,' Carly told Today this week.
'I think for me the special one remains the Justin Bieber one. Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, it was sort of the video that sparked them all so I think it's forever going to hold a bit of a special place for me.'
