She's been looking rather lonely over the past week, choosing to go solo for dinner instead of spending time with friends.
But on Friday Rihanna decided she needed some girl time as she headed out shopping with a female friend in West Hollywood.
The 24-year-old singer sported a cropped bra top and a skater-style skirt to show off her taut washboard stomach on the day out.

And, in the interest of staying comfortable while enjoying the retail therapy, Rihanna swapped her usual heels for a pair of black trainers.
Rihanna's friend also opted for a flesh-baring outfit for the day out, sporting a T-shirt, floral shorts and trainers.
The day out comes after a lonely few nights for Rihanna, who was seen on both Wednesday and Thursday nights having dinner alone at the Il Ristorante di Giorgio in Santa Monica.
But as she perused the goods on offer in the shops in Hollywood with her friend, Rihanna appeared in much better spirits than she has over the past week.
Meanwhile, many of Rihanna's fans have come out in support of the singer after Joan Rivers made a joke following the star's admission during an interview with Oprah Winfrey that she is still in love with Chris Brown, who was charged with assault after hitting her back in 2009.

Following Rihanna's admission, Rivers wrote on Twitter: 'Rihanna confessed to Oprah Winfrey that she still loves Chris Brown. Idiot! Now it's MY turn to slap her.'
She later added: 'Honey, @Rihanna, everyone knows: If he hit you once, he'll hit you again. Read the statistics. PS Love to have you on Fashion Police!'

But Rivers' comments didn't go down too well with many of Rihanna's fans, who deemed them 'ignorant' and 'foul'.
One user wrote: 'That was really ignorant what Joan Rivers said. People act like domestic violence is a joke when it's not!'
And another added: 'Joking about domestic violence is foul. You can defend Joan all you want, her tweet was in bad taste.'
