Something to tell us? Caroline Wozniacki fuelled speculation that she is engaged to golfer Rory McIlroy as she arrived in Australia on Friday wearing a ring on her left hand

She was forced to deny rumours she and boyfriend Rory McIlroy were engaged after reports that the golfer had popped the question last month.
But it seems that Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki may have not been telling the truth with the denial, as she further fuelled speculation that the pair are set to wed when she was spotted wearing a huge diamond on her left ring finger as she arrived in Australia on Friday.

That looks familiar: Caroline's ring is similar in style to the Duchess of Cambridge's

The pretty blonde sportswoman did little to hide the square-cut jewel, which bore a strong similarity to the Duchess of Cambridge's engagement ring from Prince William with its sapphire centre and diamond surround.
Caroline, 22, flashed her new accessory as she arrived for her afternoon practice session at the Queensland Tennis Centre ahead of competing in the Brisbane International.
She was then seen removing the ring before she took to the court for her practice.

Better to be safe than sorry: Caroline removed the ring for a later practice session at the Queensland Tennis Centre ahead of the Brisbane International

As well as the large engagement-type ring, Caroline was also seen wearing a diamond and sapphire band - sparking speculation that she and McIlroy could perhaps have even wed in secret.
Northern Irish golfer McIlroy, 23, was seen proudly watching his rumoured fiancée as she showed off her skills on the court.
Caroline said of the No. 1-ranked McIlroy at the airport upon arrival: 'He leaves me alone to just let me do my thing.'

Proud: Rory beamed with delight as he watched his girl perfect her skills on the court

The Brisbane International begins Sunday with Caroline's first match in a tournament that includes Serena Willliams and Maria Sharapova, if fit.
Speaking ahead of her primary match, Caroline said: 'It's a new year and all I want to do is my best and we'll see what happens. Obviously I want to go far here and to do that I have to play against the best.

Supportive pair: Caroline and No. 1 golfer Rory support each other in their ventures
