Philanthropic: David Beckham revealed he has signed with Paris St Germain and confirmed he will be donating his entire salary to a children's charity in the French capital

He has only just moved his family away from the sunshine of Los Angeles for a new life together back in London.
Now David Beckham’s globe-trotting football career is dragging him off again.
He and wife Victoria face months apart after Beckham, 37, signed yesterday for Paris St Germain.
And although the former England captain is thought to have done a dry run of the journey between the two capitals, he has concluded that a regular commute is not feasible and is expected to have to spend much of his time in hotels.

Exciting new move: David beamed as his new role was announced to the press

It is similar to the situation ten years ago when he left Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid
During his time alone in Spain, Beckham was forced to deny claims that he had been involved in a four-month affair with his former PA Rebecca Loos.
Mrs Beckham later said of the 2004 scandal: ‘It was a really tough time. But the fact is we’ve come out of everything we’ve been through stronger and happier.’
As he signed a five-month deal to play for PSG – one of the world’s richest clubs – Beckham revealed: ‘My wife and children will stay in London, because the children go to school there now.’

Making new friends: Beckham was joined at the conference by PSG Qatari president Nasser Al-Khelaifi (centre) and PSG sports director Leonardo

Former Spice Girl Mrs Beckham, 38, is also busy with a career – expanding her fashion empire.
Beckham said it would be ‘easier’ for him to stay in a hotel when he is in France adding he would do whatever was ‘easiest for me and the family when they come and spend time with me’.
The Qatari-owned club is understood to have offered the Beckhams and their children Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, and Cruz, seven, and Harper, one, the use of a luxury home in Paris complete with pool, gym and cinema.
Beckham revealed that he will donate his entire salary from PSG – estimated to be around £170,000 a week, nearly £3.5million in total – to a children’s charity in Paris.

He's got a lot to learn! David admitted it would be difficult for him to pick up French, considering he hasn't learned it since he was at school
