She loves a sip: Taylor Swift spoke about her deep feelings for Diet Coke as she announced her sponsorship deal

She has just broken up with teen idol Harry Styles.
And now Taylor Swift has just revealed that her true 'great love' is... Diet Coke.
The 23-year-old popstrel made the proclamation as it emerged she was the new face of the popular fizzy drink.
In a YouTube video, she said: 'I wanted to share some news with you, because we’re finally making it official with one of the great loves of my life…Diet Coke.'
She then showed off the famous silver and red can as she gurned at the camera with glee.

Happy lady: Taylor seems to have fulfilled a lifetime dream by teaming up with the world famous brand

In a statement, she added: 'I’ve said for years that Diet Coke just ‘gets me’ and my lifestyle. I’m so excited about our new partnership.'
Shrewd Taylor will no doubt avoid following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, who was infamously sacked from her deal with Pepsi after giving in to the lure of a nice can of Coke.

Who needs Harry Styles: The singer will doubtlessly get more satisfaction out of drinking her can of fizzy pop

Taylor split with Styles after an angry row during their recent New Year's vacation.
A source told MailOnline exclusively: 'Yes I can confirm they have split up.
'They were on holiday and had an almighty row. They are two young stars at the top of their game so who knows what will happen in the future.'
After spending Christmas apart the pair had jetted off to the British Virgin Islands on New Year's Day to spend some time together.

Lady in red: Taylor was again wearing her favourite colour as she left her hotel in Paris on Monday

But things did not go to plan and the fine filly ended her holiday early, flying back to the U.S. on her own after just three days on vacation on January 4.
Meanwhile, Styles stayed on alone and lived it up, partying with fellow guests, and even fitting in a visit to Richard Branson, who owns a neighbouring a private island.
