The Cougar Town actress proved that she truly is a beauty when she got caught in a heavy downpour in New York City today.
The star was in the Soho area with her daughter Coco, whom she had with estranged husband David Arquette, when the weather took a turn for the worse.
Cox’s long dark locks took a lashing, prompting the screen star to dash through the streets of the Big Apple with her eight-year-old girl trying to keep up by her side.
Both were dressed for the hot climate NYC has been experiencing this month.

While the mother had her hands full with a bottle of Fiji water and a plastic shopping bag as well as her own shoulder bag, Coco had more freedom to skip down the sidewalk along with a huge grin.
They were certainly noticeable on the almost empty streets as people peered at them while crowding under shelter.
