Going rogue: With the ceremony in full swing, little Claire Miller decided that the nuptials have gone long enough

Some people are just not built to handle the stress of being in a wedding party.
In a charming video posted on the California-based website The Chive, a young flower girl apparently has had enough with the wedding brouhaha and decided to take a quick catnap right at the altar.
The footage, which lasts about 35 seconds, was recorded by John Resig, of Venice Beach, who is the co-owner of the popular website specializing in humorous photos and videos.

'Til nap do us part: The flower gilr slid down and settled for a snooze right behind the bride at the altar

In a description that accompanied the clip, Resig wrote that he captured the precious moment on his camera phone while attending a cousin’s wedding in Lexington, Kentucky, this past weekend.
‘As the priest was about to present the lovely bride and groom to the congregation, the adorable flower girl Claire-Miller decided to call it a day,’ he wrote.

Quiet time: Little Claire had just spread out below the altar when her antics were spotted by the couple and the priest, who briefly paused the ceremony

The footage shows little Claire, sporting a flouncy white dress and a garland of flowers on her head, sliding to the ground as the priest is blessing the congregation.
With the rest of the bridal party looking on in amusement, the worn-out girl settles for a relaxing snooze behind the bride and groom.
She then flips over onto her back, her arms and legs spread out, and gets comfortable below the alter, her head resting on a carpeted step.

Upsy-daisy: The child was reluctant to get up when a male relative rushed over and pulled her to her feet

Graceful exit: The worn-out flower girl was carried away in the arms of a woman who appeared to be her mother

At that point, the happy couple and the minister realize what is happening and briefly pause the solemn ritual.
The flower girl's siesta comes to an abrupt end when a male relative runs over and pulls her to her feet before a woman who appears to be her mother carries the drowsy child away.
